Park Street Utilities Improvement Project

Project Update: May 2, 2025

Over the next two weeks there will be installation of watermain, stormwater infrastructure, and road base. There will be compacting of the new stormwater infrastructure, watermain, and road base.

In the area of Ash Ave. to Choice Street, you can expect heavy equipment, digging, pipe installation, and compaction. Anyone that has a driveway that is attached to Park St. may be asked to park at a different location for a day or so until the contractor’s work is past their driveway. If this is the case someone will be in touch with you prior to this happening.

Here’s what was completed in the last two weeks.

The watermain is installed to Maple Street. No one that lives between Arcadia Street and Maple Street will be connected to the new watermain until the new watermain is tied in at Choice Street and the required pressure and bacteria test results are returned.

Information conduit is installed from the bypass end of Park Street to just above Ash Avenue.

 Stormwater is almost completed to Arcadia Street. The storm pipe is in place, we will be building three storm boxes starting Monday May 5^th.

 Sewer is installed to Arcadia Street. Once the sanitary sewer main has been tested, the homes from Schultz Ave to Arcadia Street will be attached to the new sewer service.

Road base installation is completed from the bypass end of Park Street to Ash Avenue.
