Park Street Utilities Improvement Project

Project Update: June 11, 2025

The rainfall over the past six-weeks has slowed progress on the project. We appreciate your patience.

Over the next two weeks there will be installation of sewer main, stormwater infrastructure, curb and gutter, and road base. There will be compacting of the new stormwater infrastructure, watermain, and road base.

In the area of Ash Ave. to Choice Street, you can expect heavy equipment, digging, pipe installation, and compaction. Anyone that has a driveway that is attached to Park St. may be asked to park at a different location for a day or so until the contractor’s work is past their driveway. If this is the case someone will be in touch with you prior to this happening. If there is a break in rain, the road base is scheduled to be completed to Arcadia St by the end of the day on June 12, 2025. A curb and gutter crew is scheduled for Jun 12, 2025, and plan to work between Schultz Ave. and Arcadia St.

Here’s what was completed in the last two weeks.

The watermain is installed to Choice Street. No one that lives between Arcadia Street and Choice Street will be connected to the new watermain until the required pressure and bacteria test results are returned.
